Crime Statistics
ECU’s Annual Security Report (PDF) is available to download online or in hard-copy by request at the University Police Department. This report, required of all universities by federal law, provides crime statistics for the previous three years and includes certain ECU policies concerning campus security (such as policies regarding sexual assault, alcohol and other drugs).
The ECU Police Department compiles annual statistical summaries, based upon records of internal affairs investigations, which are made available to the public and agency employees upon request. Interested persons should contact the Professional Standards Lieutenant; to request this information.

Police Reports
You must submit a Written Request by completing the online PDF form, Police Report Request (PDF), or you can pick up a request form in-person by coming to the police department. After receipt of your written request, reports will be available for pick-up at Police Dispatch in approximately five (5) business days. There is no charge for this service.
